Teresa’s College was founded by His Grace, Most Rev. Dr. Charles Heerey, the
then Archbishop of Onitsha in 1948 as a grade 11 Teacher Training College with
Rev. Fr. William Butler as the founding principal.

of Immaculate Conception (CIC) Enugu was founded by His Grace, Most Rev. Dr.
Charles Heerey, the then Archbishop of Onitsha in 1942 in response to the
desire of the entire Catholics in Enugu to have their own  college. The school precisely took off on
January 2, 1942 with only 46 students, and with Rev. Fr. John Roche, a former
staff at Christ the King College (CKC), Onitsha as priincipal.

Amaigbo Lane, Uwani, Enugu, CIC has continued to produce students who have gone
